By Havasu News The La Paz County Board of Supervisors has recommended census tract that covers much of Quartzsite and extends north to the junction of State Routes 95 and 72 be declared an “Opportunity Zone.” Under a program begun in 2018, this will entitle the area to tax breaks and other incentives to encourage economic development.
