Supermicro Launches New Server Solutions with Intel Xeon 6+ Processors

- On Sunday, May 31, Super Micro Computer, Inc. launched 12 new server platforms optimized for Intel Xeon 6+ processors, designed to enhance performance in large-scale cloud and enterprise data centers.
- These X14 platforms feature up to 576 efficiency cores per server, designed to lower total cost of ownership while reducing power consumption in high-density environments.
- "We have optimized our DCBBS," Supermicro CEO Charles Liang said, citing "breakthrough efficiency." The systems offer up to 17% higher instructions per clock and five times more last-level cache.
- Spanning the Hyper, SuperBlade, FlexTwin, and GrandTwin families, the platforms support virtualization and 5G analytics workloads, with SuperBlade supporting up to 10 compute nodes in a compact 6U chassis.
- Operating from San Jose, California, the company manufactures these solutions globally in the United States, Taiwan, and the Netherlands, focusing on "Green Computing" to improve total cost of ownership and reduce environmental impact.
