The Sundance Film Festival — its leaders having decided last week to move the world-renowned event from Utah to Boulder — will make Colorado the epicenter of the movie universe for a week and half each winter for a decade beginning in 2027.

The announcement of the transfer from Utah to Colorado of the Sundance Festival, the prestigious contest that Robert Redford promoted, has almost coincided with a cameo by surprise of the actor in a series he produces, but Redford is getting further away from the Mecca of Cinema: he recently sold his home in California and resides almost exclusively in Santa Fe, where his wife runs an art gallery.
