The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) has updated its data on the number of victims of the floods and landslides that hit North Sumatra, West Sumatra, and Aceh. As of Wednesday afternoon (December 10, 2025), 969 people had died.
Aceh was recorded as the province with the worst impact, while North Sumatra and West Sumatra also suffered significant damage.
The Indonesian National Police (Polri) reported the latest data on the handling of the natural disasters that struck Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. The total number of victims in the three provinces is 965 deaths, 1,043 serious injuries, 3,947 minor injuries, and 231 missing.
