The summer carnival festival Jeck en de City in Hückelhoven was cancelled due to hail and thunderstorms. There were slight injuries caused by hail grains up to two centimetres in size.

In Limburg, hailstones as big as marbles have fallen, says Buienradar. The KNMI previously warned of thunderstorms and possible flooding in the south of the province.
