Alleged offender, 80, kept more than 150 guns on his property

ACT police have seized more than 150 firearms from a man accused of family violence who failed to surrender the weapons once he was charged.

A criminal charge for violation of Article 3.1 (mistreatment) of Law 54 on Domestic Violence was filed yesterday in the Utuado Court against Ángel Rivera Alvarado, 34 years old and resident in the aforementioned municipality, the Police reported today.

Utuado – Agents of the Puerto Rico Police Negotiate, attached to the Domestic Violence Division of the Utuado area, carried out an investigation that culminated in the establishment of a criminal charge for violation of Law 54 on Domestic Violence against Ángel Rivera Alvarado, 34 years old and resident of that municipality.
