Tumor Splicing Burden Predicts Treatment Response in Kidney Cancer
Among 101 metastatic kidney cancer patients, high splicing burden was tied to better responses to immunotherapy and tyrosine kinase inhibitors, researchers said.
Researchers at City of Hope® and TGen (part of City of Hope) have identified a significant correlation between a tumor's "splicing burden" and its clinical response to treatment for metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC).
