Students at the University of Waterloo walked out of class at 11 a.m. on Wednesday morning as part of a campus-wide strike. They are calling on the provincial government to reverse plans to change the Ontario Student Assistance Program. The student strike took place the same day as planned protests at Queen's Park.

More than 1,000 students gathered at the arts quad outside Dana Porter library on Wednesday morning, March 4, to protest against impending changes to OSAP funding.
