The Volunteers of Madeira participated, this morning, in a simulation at the basic School of the 1st cycle with Pre-Scholar Visconde Cacongo in Funchal. The exercise involved nine operational members of the corporation, who were assisted by three journeys (a heavy vehicle, a light and an ambulance). The action, which simulated a fire in a computer room, attempted to test the evacuation procedures and the response in emergency situations.
