Fourth Couple Voted Off Strictly as Show Reveals Halloween Twist
Shaun Wright-Phillips and Alexis Warr became the fourth couple eliminated after scoring 17, as judges prepare a one-off Halloween twist.
On Sunday, former England footballer Shaun Wright-Phillips became the fourth celebrity voted off Strictly Come Dancing after losing the dance-off to actress Jaime Winstone.
Wright-Phillips and professional partner Alexis Warr scored 17 for their jive, placing them in the bottom two alongside Winstone and professional partner Carlos Gu.
Sunday's results show also brought a surprise announcement: Strictly will implement its first triple dance-off during next week's Halloween episode, with three lowest-scoring couples performing again.
Judges Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse voted to save Winstone, while head judge Shirley Ballas saved Wright-Phillips, leaving Anton Du Beke to cast the deciding vote.
While Strictly faces scrutiny over a dwindling television audience of 5.3 million viewers, the BBC confirmed the triple dance-off is for Halloween results only.
