GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WATE) — Great Smoky Mountains National Park will close part of the Foothills Parkway on Wednesday to conduct more bridge inspections in the wake of the 4.1-magnitude earthquake that shook the region over the weekend. Foothills Parkway between Wears Valley and Walland will be closed on May 14 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for additional bridge inspections.
