A man was shot Sunday morning at a street takeover in Long Beach, authorities said. Officers were dispatched at 1:35 a.m. Sunday to the 6600 block of Downey Avenue, a few blocks west of Lakewood Boulevard and south of the Artesia (91) Freeway, regarding a street takeover and a shooting, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
