In a decision handed down by the Strasbourg Administrative Court on Monday 16 June, the judge for interim measures suspended the deployment of surveillance drones on the Molsheim and Saverne sectors. The Bas-Rhin prefecture adopted this measure on 10 June in order to "fight against illegal immigration".

On Monday 16 June, the Strasbourg Administrative Court suspended an order of the Prefect of the Bas-Rhin which allowed since 10 June the surveillance of the main roads of the Molsheim and Saverne regions by means of three military drones.

The Strasbourg Administrative Court suspended, on Monday 16 June, a prefectural order authorizing the deployment of drones to monitor the roads and motorways of the districts of Molsheim and Saverne, as part of the fight against illegal immigration.

The Bas-Rhin prefecture had authorized the use of drones to combat illegal immigration. Faced with the unclear arguments of the State representative, the administrative judge suspended the order concerned.
