Stephen J. Krichten, 77, of East Berlin, died at home Oct. 12, his birthday. Born in Hanover on Oct. 12, 1949, he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. His wife, Pamela M. (Bolin) Krichten, died in 2005. Krichten enjoyed family gatherings, especially parties and picnics, and treasured time with his grandchildren.
