The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has urged safe corridors for civilians trapped in Sudan’s escalating war. It is completely unacceptable that the famine in Sudan is allowed to continue without aid being allowed to get through, says Minister for Development Cooperation Åsmund Aukrust. For the first time in history, we now have two ongoing famine crises at once, both Sudan and Gaza. Both are man-made.
