Nearly 4,000 people denied firearms in Pennsylvania
HARRISBURG, Pa. (WTAJ) -- Nearly 4,000 people were denied firearms when they tried to buy any in the first quarter of 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police (PSP). In the first quarter of the year, 261,878 Pennsylvania Instant Check System (PICS) checks were conducted, resulting in 3,811 denials, up from the first quarter of 2024 -- 3,776 denials.
