The State Fair of Texas opens this month and, once again, visitors will be banned from bringing firearms. That doesn’t sit well with gun rights groups. Michael Cargill at Central Texas Gun Works says the state needs to step in and change the law, allowing Texans to protect themselves in public. In addition to the gun ban, the State Fair will also be using a weapons detection system at the gates.
