The town of Porge, in Gironde, was ravaged by the megafire of Gironde. In the village, nearly 200 houses were destroyed by flames. Among the houses, the equestrian center Lescarran was partially reduced to ashes. However, a large part of the animals were evacuated. It is now housed in various centres of the region thanks to solidarity.
