Stabbing in West Swindon was a suspected robbery-gone-wrong, police say

A man was stabbed in his own home in Swindon, Wiltshire Police have revealed. An intruder entered the man's home on Thornford Drive, in Westlea, and attacked him with a bladed weapon, stabbing him. The victim received what are believed to have been "serious but not life-threatening injuries" A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, robbery and possession of an offensive weapon. A second man has since been arrested and remains in police custody.
