DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD softball team entered play on Tuesday with a chance to climb up the NSIC standings. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs dropped both games of their doubleheader to St. Cloud State, 6 to 4 and 13 to 4. UMD will try to bounce back on Saturday at Minnesota State-Mankato. ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Softball (30-11, 9-4 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference) begins a six-game road trip on Tuesday with a doubleheader at Minnesota Duluth (28-12, 8-4 NSIC). First pitches from Malosky Stadium in Duluth are scheduled for 2 and 4 p.m. (note – the games were originally supposed to be played on Wednesday).
