SRT Unleashes the Jeep® Wrangler Scrambler Concept, Reimagining an American Off-Road Icon
The concept reimagines the classic Scrambler with SRT performance cues and off-road hardware for a modern take on Jeep heritage.
On Tuesday, November 3, 2026, Stellantis North America's SRT Performance division unveiled the Jeep Wrangler Scrambler SRT Concept at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, reimagining the classic CJ-8 Scrambler with aggressive SRT styling.
Inspired by the classic CJ-8 Scrambler produced from 1981 through 1986, the concept features a bespoke independent front suspension developed with off-road racing champion Casey Currie to enhance high-speed stability and wheel control.
Under the hood sits a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 rated at 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque; the truck features a sharknose design and 180-degree reversible rear seating that clips into floor-mounted hooks.
Tim Kuniskis, head of American Brands and SRT Performance, called the vehicle "a Swiss Army Knife," stating "it is overbuilt and engineered around the idea that the desert can be every bit as demanding as a racetrack."
While Stellantis has not confirmed a launch timeline, the concept previews production models expected around 2028, with the Scrambler SRT likely to cost more than $65,000.
