When Spokane’s New Community Church was told by its insurance carrier in fall 2025 that covering the congregation was no longer economical, the church was forced to look elsewhere. The only problem was, the only other carrier interested in insuring the congregation quoted a yearly premium of $48,000 – three times more than what it had previously been paying.
