Speeding e-bikes spur call for action in Wapello

WAPELLO — A new mode of transportation is catching on with Wapello youth, and some of the activity is starting to draw the attention of city leaders.

With increase in popularity, e-bikes also catching attention of local authorities

Since Kim and Bob Arena bought their e-bikes two years ago, they have logged hundreds of miles on recreational trails throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire as they rediscovered the joy and health benefits that cycling has to offer.
