On Sunday, 20 Arab and European countries reaffirmed their commitment to a two-state solution at a summit in Madrid to permanently end the Middle East conflict between Israel and Palestine. According to Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares, the conference of the so-called "Madrid Group" in the Spanish capital aimed to give new impetus to a two-state solution to which there is no "alternative."
