HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Elizabeth Holladay Elementary School will be closed on Monday due to an extended power outage. Southern High School in Harwood closed Monday due to power outage

Southern High School in Harwood was be closed for students and staff on Monday Nov. 11 due to a power outage, according to an email sent out by a representative for the school district. The outage was caused by a transformer issue and Anne Arundel County Public Schools expects the school, which has roughly 1,066 students, to return to normal Tuesday, according to district spokesperson Bob Mosier.
