The island of Jeju, South Korea. It is nicknamed the "Korean Hawaii". Its paradisiacal beaches and its immense waves make it the paradise of surfers, but it is mainly the Haenyeo, or the women of the sea, who make the island famous. These divers fish sea urchins and octopus, according to a tradition of a century old. No boat, they fish by hand and in apnea. Their equipment: a mask, a combination and some tools. (Voyages).
