The province of South Holland will in principle no longer invest money in WarmtelinQ, the underground pipeline network with which 120,000 homes are to be heated with residual heat from the port of Rotterdam. The construction of the pipelines will cost almost 500 million euros more than initially budgeted. The Ministry of Climate and Green Growth has therefore asked the province to help out.
