Sounds of liberty: Bells peal in Sequim — and across America — commemorating signing of U.S. Constitution

Members of the public joined representatives of the New Dungeness Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) at the Sequim Civic Center Plaza on Thursday, Sept. 17, to kick off the 70th anniversary of Constitution Week and join communities across the country in ringing bells to commemorate the signing of the U.S. Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787.
