On Tuesday, the Zagreb County Court sentenced Sonja Hranjec, accused of stabbing Vedran Gračan to death in July 2025, on the premises of the Medika Autonomous Cultural Center, to 12 and a half years in prison.
Although she insisted until the end that she was defending herself against Gračan, who she claimed wanted to rape her, the court rejected her defense.
