Oil loading operations resumed on the 15th (local time), just one day after being suspended at the United Arab Emirates (UAE) port of Fujairah, which serves as a bypass route instead of the Strait of Hormuz. According to Bloomberg on that day, the port of Fujairah, located south of the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz, is the terminus of an oil pipeline, allowing the UAE to export oil by bypassing the Strait of Hormuz through this port.
