Solid Rock Community School Gives High School Students a Head Start in Veterinary and Animal-Care Careers
S.A.V.E. is a multi-year educational program for students in grades 9-12 interested in animal-related careers such as veterinary medicine and wildlife conservation.
The program offers career certifications, practicum and clinical experience, and college credits through a dedicated classroom and veterinary lab setting.
Founder Michele Fasnacht said the program helps students develop practical skills and explore their passion for animals while learning strong academics.
Coursework includes hands-on learning in areas such as animal care, grooming, rescue, veterinary assisting, animal behavior, veterinary medicine, and wildlife conservation from professionals.
