- On Wednesday, Abby Wambach announced on Instagram she has left the Wasserman Agency after reading Casey Wasserman's correspondences in the Epstein files and is the first athlete to publicly cut ties amid others leaving earlier this week.
- The records showed in emails released by the U.S. Department of Justice last month that Casey Wasserman traded flirtatious 2003 correspondence with Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's associate.
- In her post, Wambach said `I know what I know, and I am following my gut and my values` and `I will not participate in any business arrangement under his leadership`, urging Wasserman to resign, and expressed gratitude to `my agent`.
- Several recording artists including Chappell Roan, Weyes Blood, Wednesday, Beach Bunny and Orville Peck have left Wasserman this week, while agents Duffy McSwiggin and Marty Diamond demanded Wasserman sell the music business or they will quit.
- Beyond reputational fallout, Wasserman faces mounting pressure to resign as LA 2028 Olympics Organizing Committee chair, though the committee met Wednesday, Feb. 11 to review his role.
