UK Weather: Snow and Ice Hits with Warnings of Travel Disruption
An Arctic blast brings snow and ice warnings for Yorkshire with health alerts and risks of travel disruption, affecting multiple cities and rural areas, UK Health Agency said.

- Weather maps from WXCharts showed snow moving in overnight across Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, and Sheffield at 3.15am, while National Highways said more than 530 gritters are active nationally with crews on duty around the clock.
