Snowflake and Anthropic Accelerate Enterprise AI Adoption Driven by Rising Demand for Governed AI
Snowflake said Cortex AI now brings Claude governance, security and observability as customers use the model for production workflows.
At Snowflake Summit 26 on Tuesday, Snowflake and Anthropic announced significant momentum in their strategic partnership, highlighting increased enterprise adoption of Anthropic Claude within Snowflake Cortex AI for governed, production-ready artificial intelligence.
Deepening their co-innovation, the companies aim to help enterprises build AI that is powerful, secure, and grounded in business context, allowing organizations to run models directly on governed data instead of isolated systems.
Snowflake Cortex Code, the company's fastest-growing product with more than 7,100 users, now uses Claude to accelerate developer productivity, while more than 13,900 customers use the broader Snowflake AI Data Cloud to build applications.
Indeed and eSentire are leveraging Claude within Snowflake's environment to power AI-led threat investigations and improve hiring processes, with Indeed VP Data and Analytics Trey Henninger noting faster movement from data to insights.
Snowflake EVP of Product Christian Kleinerman said the partnership helps organizations move from experimentation to production, while Anthropic Head of Global Business Development Steve Corfield added that together they are making it easy for organizations to use trusted AI.
Snowflake, a U.S. data cloud service provider, announced that it is offering an integrated service that allows companies to directly utilize Anthropic's AI model, Claude, within its data platform. This is intended to address corporate security concerns by enabling the use of AI without exposing sensitive customer information or financial data externally.
