- Stolen passwords caused 33% of small-business breaches, yet only 27% of businesses with 25 or fewer employees use MFA, according to JumpCloud; the Guardz SMB Cybersecurity Report found 34% possess written incident plans.
- Hiscox found that while 56% of small businesses experienced at least one cyber attack between mid-2024 and mid-2025, only 25% reported the incident threatened their business viability.
