The small quake hit the neary 5 miles west of Bennington at 5:05 a.m. It was near the north end of Bear Lake, which straddles the Utah, Idaho border. A small 3.8 magnitude earthquake struck about 6 miles outside of Bennington, Idaho, early Friday morning.According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake happened at 5:05 a.m. 5.8 miles West of Bennington. The depth of the earthquake was about 3 kilometers.It isn't known if there is any damage from the earthquake. FOX 13 News has reached out to officials to learn more.
