The Statistical Office presents the first estimate of GDP growth in the first quarter of this year. After an unexpected contraction in economic activity in the first three months of last year, real growth in the first quarter of this year was 3% at an annual level.

Slovenia's economy expanded by 3.0% in real terms in the first quarter of this year from the same quarter a year ago, driven by investment, domestic consumption and construction, data from the Statistical Office show.
