The 46-year-old is the only candidate for the successor of Olle Dahlin. The 72-year-old Swede will resign after the end of his second four-year term. Farcnik has been a member of the IBU Board so far. With the Swedish Anna Sofia Domeij there is also only one candidate for the Vice President's post.
