Slight Increase in Fuel Prices From Tuesday

Reports are multiplying on the distorted effect of the realignment of excise duties on fuel started on 15 May . The fact is that while the prices of diesel have gone up as expected, those of petrol have not dropped as they should have. The measure provides, in fact, an increase of 1.5 cents on diesel and an equivalent decrease of that on gasoline.

At midnight, with unchanged excise duties, a liter of 95-octane gasoline at gas stations outside the highways will increase in price by 1.6 cents to 1.434 euros, and a liter of diesel fuel by 0.5 cents to 1.445 euros.

At midnight, the price of 95-octane gasoline will increase by 1.6 cents, to 1.434 euros, and diesel by 0.5 cents, to 1.445 euros per liter.

Fuel prices at gas stations outside the motorways will increase at midnight. A liter of 95-octane gasoline will increase from 1.418 euros to 1.434. A liter of diesel fuel will increase from 1.440 euros to 1.445 euros.
