Flensburg (Germany) - Sales of new passenger cars in Germany increased by 1.4 percent to 2.86 million vehicles last year. Sales of electric cars rose by 43.2 percent to 545,142 vehicles, according to today's data from the Federal Motor Vehicle Office (KBA). Czech carmaker Škoda Auto increased its sales in Germany by 10.2 percent to 226,472 vehicles last year. It thus maintained its leading position among imported brands.
