At around 10:32 a.m. on the 1st, a fire broke out at SK Hynix’s Cheongju Campus 4 in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, resulting in a partial leak of hydrogen fluoride, which is harmful to humans. The fire was immediately extinguished as the sprinkler system activated. SK Hynix stated that seven employees were transferred to the company hospital, but so far, there have been no reported casualties or production disruptions.
