Sivaganga custodial death case: Madras High Court directs CBI to complete probe, file final report by August 20
The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court on Tuesday directed the Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation to appoint an investigating officer (IO), along with a team of officials, in one week to investigate the recent custodial death of B. Ajith Kumar, a temple security guard, in Sivaganga district. The IO must complete the probe and file the final report before the jurisdictional court by August 20.
