Sisters Both Give Birth to Twins, 13 Hours Apart
The sisters learned they were both expecting twins, and their deliveries were separated by about 13 hours, their mother said.
In SAN ANTONIO, Texas, sisters Darian Lowe and Rainy Jones welcomed twin boys, Wilder and Walker, just 13 hours apart on a Thursday in March.
Darian Lowe and Rainy Jones learned they were pregnant around the same time, then discovered they were both expecting twins. "She found out she was pregnant, then I found out I was pregnant," Rainy Jones said.
Grandmother Shannon Jackson welcomed four new grandsons instantly, noting the new territory. "And though their mom Shannon has experience raising twins, becoming a grandmother to four boys overnight is new territory," Jackson said.
The sisters' younger siblings, Hadley and Hudson, are also twins, extending the family pattern. "And also having twins is just another level of crazy," Darian Lowe said.
Growing up together, the four boys will be best friends, the sisters said. "I can't wait to watch them grow up together," Jones said, anticipating their shared bond.
