The town of McCloud, Calif., was under a shelter-in-place order Wednesday after two suspects shot at a deputy vehicle during a pursuit.

The two suspects, identified as 36-year-old Stephen Kristopher Robles and 35-year-old Leanne Elizabeth Varao, ran away on foot in the McCloud area. Both were last seen wearing dark colored clothing.
