Election officials prepare for complex ballots across Sioux Falls metro

Ballots for the June 2 election in Minnehaha County and Lincoln County may be more complicated than usual as school board and municipal races are added to the statewide primary. Under a state law passed last year, city and school board elections must now be held in conjunction with either the June primary or the November general election in an effort to increase voter turnout.
