Sinkhole near Trenton blocks all lanes on I-59
DADE COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) – A sinkhole has opened up on I-59 North before the Trenton Exit. All lanes are closed and traffic is being diverted off of Exit 11 and back onto Exit 17. The sinkhole is at mile marker 15. According to Dade County’s 911 center, the hole opened up right by a bridge where the road way was deteriorating. More information to come as this develops.
