Signs above highway near Utrecht are illegible, but solution proves not simple and very expensive

Maarssen, Amsterdam or Hilversum: those who know the way a little know how to drive on the Utrecht ring road to get to their destination. But those who are new and don't have a navigation system can easily get into trouble on the A12 and A27. Because the blue signs that are supposed to show you the way here? They let you down en masse. But the end is in sight, although it does come with a hefty price tag.
