Signal-free Coastal Road from SoBo to Bhayander by 2029: CM Devendra Fadnavis

The Mumbai Coastal Road's northern extension to Bhayander will be completed by March 2029. This project will eliminate traffic signals from Marine Drive all the way to Bhayander. Mumbai's slum redevelopment is progressing rapidly, with clusters being cleared within months. The city aims to become largely slum-free within the next ten years. Cidco's stake in the Navi Mumbai airport will be leveraged to improve charter flight parking.
