Record number of runners to take part in 2024 London Marathon

The TCS London Marathon, in its 44th year, will have a record 50,000 athletes participating, including elite runners and charity fundraisers.
The marathon will start with the elite wheelchair race at 9.05am, followed by elite women and men, and a mass start at 10 am.
Last year's event raised £63 million for charities, and this year's race is expected to raise tens of millions, with over 50,000 participants enjoying a dry and bright day with temperatures up to 12C.
