Due to a power outage of about two hours on Friday, Škoda Auto did not produce several hundred cars at all its plants. Their production will be included in the program in the coming weeks. Furthermore, the automaker will not introduce shifts because of this, it will manage it during normal working hours.
Minister of Industry and Trade Lukáš Vlček (STAN) ruled out that the government should in any way compensate for the damage to companies that were affected by the power outage last Friday. Organizations representing entrepreneurs are calling for a reconsideration.
